Le drapeau - flag

It is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

Each word is written twice to help the children remember the difference between LE, LA, L’ (the) and UN, UNE (a).

This a countable noun.

Le drapeau est bleu, blanc et rouge. The flag is blue, white and red.

Combien de drapeaux y a-t-il? How many flags are there?
Il y en a sept. There are seven.

NB Don't forget the plural 'x'.
