It is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

Making sentences plural in French.

La chemise est rouge. The shirt is red.
Les chemises sont rouges. The shirts are red.

NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun and the adjective.

NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe.

la voiture bleue the blue car

Qu’est-ce que tu portes? What are you wearing?
Je porte une chemise rouge et blanche. I’m wearing a red and white shirt.

Où est ta chemise? Where is your shirt?

Est-ce que tu as vu ma chemise? Have you seen my shirt?
