Each word is written twice to help the children remember the difference between LE, LA, L’ (the) and UN, UNE (a).

This a countable noun.

NB Don't forget the plural 's'.

Making sentences plural in French

La chaise est marron. The chair is brown.
Les chaises sont marron. The chairs are brown.

NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun and the adjective.
REMEMBER marron never changes by adding an 'e' or an 's'.
