Le manteau - coat
The French word is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).
Making sentences plural in French
Le manteau est marron. The coat is brown.
Les manteaux sont marron. The coats are brown.
NB The plural ‘x’ is added to the noun but as marron never changes even in the plural, you don't have to add the plural 's'.

NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe.
