The French word is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

Making sentences plural in French

Le gant est marron. The glove is brown.
Les gants sont marron. The gloves are brown.

NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun but as marron never changes even in the plural, you don't have to add the plural 's'.

NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe except marron and orange.

Je porte des gants marron. I’m wearing some brown gloves.

Est-ce que tu as vu mes gants? Have you seen my gloves?
