The French word is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

Making sentences plural in French

La basket est blanche. The trainer is white.
Les baskets sont blanches. The trainers are white.

NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun and the adjective.

NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe.

la voiture bleue the blue car

Qu’est-ce que tu portes? What are you wearing?
Je porte des baskets blanches. I’m wearing white trainers.

Où sont tes baskets? Where are your trainers?

Est-ce que tu as vu mes baskets? Have you seen my trainers?
