The French word is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

Making sentences plural in French

La chaussette est bleue et jaune. The sock is blue and yellow.
Les chaussettes sont bleues et jaunes. The socks are blue and yellow.

NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun and the adjective.

NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe.

Qu’est-ce que tu portes? What are you wearing?
Je porte des chaussettes bleues et jaunes. I’m wearing blue and yellow socks.

Où est ta chaussette? Where is your sock?
