La robe - dress

The French word is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

Making sentences plural in French

La robe est rouge. The dress is pink.
Les robes sont rouges. The dresses are pink.

NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun and the adjective.

est is
sont are

NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe.

la voiture bleue the blue car

Qu’est-ce que tu portes? What are you wearing?
Je porte une robe rose. I’m wearing a pink dress.

Où est ta robe? Where is your dress?

Est-ce que tu as vu ma robe? Have you seen my dress?
