Le jean - jeans

The French word is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

Making sentences plural in French.
REMEMBER jeans, in English, are always plural.

Le jean est bleu. The jeans are blue.
Les jeans sont bleus. The jeans are blue.

NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun and the adjective.

NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe.

le vélo bleu the blue bike
la voiture bleue the blue car

Qu’est-ce que tu portes? What are you wearing?
Je porte un jean bleu. I’m wearing some blue jeans.

Où est ton jean? Where are your jeans?

Est-ce que tu as vu mon jean? Have you seen my jeans?
