It is colour coded to represent the difference between masculine words (blue) and feminine words (red).

REMEMBER trousers, English, are always plural
Le pantalon est gris. The trousers are grey.
Les pantalons sont gris. The trousers are grey.
NB The plural ‘s’ is added to the noun and the adjective.
NB Colours come AFTER the noun and have to agree with the noun they describe.

Qu’est-ce que tu portes? What are you wearing?
Je porte un pantalon gris. I’m wearing some grey trousers.
Où est ton pantalon? Where are your trousers?
Est-ce que tu as vu mon pantalon? Have you seen my trousers?
