MAKING A BIRD
Colour in the bird and the wing.
Fold the paper in half along the dotted line.
Cut out the complete shape of the little bird.
Carefully cut along the dotted line (just the length of the dotted line - no more) near the bird's neck.
Fold the remaining piece of paper (the bird's wing) in half.
Cut round the wing but leave the join between the two halves uncut.
Carefully cut along the dotted line (just the length of the dotted line - no more) on the fold of the wing.
Slip cut of the bird's wing into the cut of the bird's neck.
The wings should be able to flap if moved gently.
Using a light card instead of paper will produce the best results.
