THE CAULIFLOWER GAME + MP3 Soundtrack

This is a dice game.

Fold the paper along the dotted line. One side for each game.

EITHER The teacher throws a dice, calls out the number and the French for the picture in the box.
OR You can listen to the MP3 soundtrack which calls out the pre-set numbers for two games.
In the first game, the children lose.
In the second game, the children win.

The aim of the game is to colour in (quickly) all five pictures before three 6s (the cauliflowers) have been thrown.

This game can be played twice.

Try dividing the class into two and playing the game in two teams
(Red team has the red dice and blue team the blue dice)
The teacher throws both dice together and calls out both numbers.
Exemple: rouge - deux bleu - quatre

If the children can play quietly together you could allow pairs to play together.
Each child would have his/her own dice and throw at the same time as their partner.
