JEU DE DE Dice game - THIS GAME CAN BE PLAYED TWICE

LEVEL: AN EASY DICE GAME WHICH REQUIRES NO WRITING.

AIMS:
To colour by numbers using a dice.

KEY SKILLS:
Reading the numbers on a dice and colouring the right part of the picture.

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Ask the children to fold their piece of paper in half so only one picture can be seen.

2. Colour in the six little boxes marked 1 – 6 in their correct colours.

3. The teacher throws a dice and calls out the number.

The children colour in that part of the picture.
Continue until all the numbered parts of the picture have been coloured in.

VARIATIONS
The teacher has two different (red and blue) dice and divides the class into two teams ie RED and BLUE
He throws both dice together and calls out the RED team's number and the BLUE team's number
