My, in French, is written in three ways.

Mon (describes a masculine noun)
mon frère my brother

Ma (describes a feminine noun)
ma soeur my sister

Mes (describes a plural noun)
mes parents my parents

Mon frère s’appelle Thomas. My brother’s called Thomas.
Ma soeur s’appelle Sophie. My sister’s called Sophie.
Mes parents s’appellent Luc et Pauline. My parents are called Luc and Pauline.
