Quel and préféré are two very useful adjectives.
They both need to agree with the word they describe.

NB This worksheet may be photocopiable for private use within the purchasing institution only.

AIMS:
To make sure the children understand that all adjectives have to agree with the noun they describe.
This includes colours and the words 'what' and 'favourite'.

KEY SKILLS:
Translation, accurate writing and recognising masculine and feminine words.

ORAL SKILLS:
Read out each question once the exercise has been completed.
The children can make up their own answers to the questions.

GRAMMAR:
All French nouns beginning with le are masculine.
All French nouns beginning with la are feminine.
Quel, ton and préféré are masculine.
Quelle, ta and préférée are feminine.
