Children find the question ‘Combien de……y a-t-il?’ difficult to remember.
Here is a chance to practise asking questions, giving two different answers whilst revising fruit and vegetable vocabulary.
NB Il y a can be translated as There is and There are

AIMS:
To complete accurate sentences in French.

Read out each question and answer once the exercise has been completed.
GRAMMAR:
Check the children remember that colours come after the noun, in French.
Check they remember to make the nouns plural (if more than one)
Check they remember to write the colours AFTER the noun.
Check the colours agree with the nouns they describe.
