Circle the correct colour
Remind the children that colours agree with the nouns they describe.
Write an example, in English on the board:
the blue shirt (la chemise bleue)
Ask a child to translate it into French. If he/she remembers to add an e to bleu,(feminine) and place the colour after the noun, you should be encouraged that the basics of French grammar are ‘sticking’!
